Welcome to the Contra Costa Chapter of the Chevron Retirees Association Website. The organization is comprised of retirees, spouses, and surviving spouses of the Chevron Corporation, its subsidiaries or its former parts or predecessor companies (Chevron, Gulf, Texaco, and Union, to name a few). Our primary purpose is social and to keep retirees informed of company benefits and other information. This website is managed by the Chevron Retirees Association, which is not a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation but an independent organization of retired employees of Chevron or its predecessor companies.

Our next luncheon meeting is scheduled for Monday September 25, 2017 at the Contra Costa Country Club at 10:45 AM. Our lunch speaker will be Pierre Breber, Executive Vice President for Downstream and Chemicals, who will update us on these significant parts of Chevron's activities and their many contributions to the company.

Chevron's Matching Grant Program will match your donations and contribute a grant for your volunteer activities, but the online process can be confusing. The Chevron Retirees National Organization has a page devoted to Chevron Humankind (including a new User Guide and FAQs reflecting the changes made on June 1, 2017).

Check out (CRA National Organization) to see Encore 3Q 2017 which tells how the new CRA President, Kathy Henschel, takes over the office with much enthusiasm for providing value to the CRA members, providing value to the Chevron Corporation, connecting with CRA's current and future members, and developing CRA's future leaders. This issue also features retirees who are Canadian curlers, and the winners of the first two CRA Public Awards for this year: Jim Koerber and Jerry and Debbie Reed. The CRA website also has useful articles about hospital safety and about what to do when your prescription drug prices are excessive or drugs are no longer covered.

Take advantage of the many great opportunities to volunteer with Chevron Humankind and to participate in events of interest put on by the Employee Networks.
